"Behavior modification is generally thought of as the process of changing patterns of human behavior using various motivational techniques, such as negative and positive reinforcement, extinction, fading, shaping, and chaining. It can be a useful tool to encourage desirable behaviors in yourself, your children, or your co-workers. There are strategies that may improve the effectiveness of behavior modification, and a coach or counselor may help you determine the best ones to achieve your desired change." Deborah Way, LPC

Why would I want a certification?
Earning a certification can give you a big leg up in the job market. It’s a key item that hiring employers and clients look for in curriculum vitae . Some employers may also require their professionals to have certain certifications. This can be true especially in health care or government service fields.
Certifications are designated credentials earned by an individual to verify their legitimacy and competence in a professional role. Your certification is typically displayed as a document stating that as a professional, you've been trained, educated and are prepared to meet a specific set of educational criteria for your role. This statement is awarded only after you've passed the proper assessments administered by a recognized third-party credentialing institution.
Employers and potential clients must be able to trust that credentialing materials remain accurate and up to date and use top-quality content. COREPSO is an institution trusted to set the standards of an industry and develop the necessary training to prepare individuals to enter or advance in the field of work they're trained in (see justification letter above).
During your certification, you will engage in assessments, surveys and processes which you can copy and paste to your training transcript to create your own personal plan of study or coaching curriculum. Furthermore, after three years, you may take a recertification booster program upon presenting your completed training transcript.
Professional certification is a compliment to accredited degree work, meant to enhance your education or professional experience in your field. Once you've earned a titled certification, you are given a designation that you can use in your curriculum vitae as a way to distinguish certified professionals from their uncertified peers.
